    About the Position: Position is with the Tripler Army Medical Center Logistics Division located on Tripler Army Medical Center, HI. Oahu is the third largest island in the Hawaiian chain. Honolulu is the state capitol and the 11th largest U.S. Metropolitan city. Waikiki, the most world renowned site in Oahu, and is the top visitor destination of the state. The island is very diverse with mountains, rainforests, volcanic craters, beaches and much more.


    Responsibilities
    • Order stocked medical items via point-of-use systems.
    • Receive supplies from warehouse, prime vendor or vendors via credit card purchase.
    • Check invoice against received material to ensure receipts of all items and sign for material received.
    • Assist customers in locating items in storage.
    • Keep storage areas neat and clean and functionally arranged.

Ordering supplies, receiving and storing supplies, and keeping storage areas neat and clean. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

      Continual standing on hard floors for extended periods of time, bending, stooping and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions is required. Lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 70 pounds is required. The heavier items are moved with weight handling equipment, push carts, or with assistance from co-workers.
    • Working Conditions
      Work is performed in climate-controlled areas, storage rooms, etc. Normally is not exposed to extreme heat or cold conditions.
